About Dog Camp Boquete
A safe haven for dogs in the highlands of Panama since 2014
Our Mission
DogCamp is run with one simple belief: every dog deserves dignity, safety, and a real chance at a better life. Dogs receive proper food, medical care, socialization, and time to heal — both physically and emotionally.
For some, DogCamp is a stepping stone to adoption. For others, it becomes a lifelong home filled with routine, kindness, and security.

Our Permanent Residents
Some dogs find their forever home right here at Dog Camp. These special souls have become the heart of our rescue.

Jake
"When I was found in David, I was just skin and bones, tired and hungry. I didn't know what love felt like… until I came to DOGCAMP. That was five years ago, and this place has become my safe haven. I'm friendly and gentle, but I get a little nervous around new people — that's why I was adopted and returned a few times. Now I know this is where I belong. DOGCAMP is my forever home, and I'm finally loved just the way I am."

Chapo
"This is my forever home, and I couldn't have found a better one. I used to be a stray, living on my own and trying to survive. One day, I dug under the fence at DogCamp – and I've been here ever since, back in 2016. Because I grew up without much human contact, I'm still a little unsure around people. But that's okay — DOGCAMP is my safe place, and I get to live freely and happily here with my friends."

Romeo
"I'm about ten years old, and I've been part of the DOGCAMP family for quite a while. I was adopted once, but I missed this place so much that I ran all the way back — I guess my heart knew where home really was. I'm a friendly boy who loves attention and sunshine. I take daily medication that helps me stay healthy, which costs about $25 each month. DOGCAMP is my forever home now, and I'm so thankful to be loved every single day."
